NPFL Matchday 20 Round Up: FC Ifeanyi Uba humiliated 3SC in Ibadan as Stephen Odey missed penalty

At the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, champions Rangers grabbed a late goal to beat 10-man Gombe United 2-1.

Adamu Mohammed gave Gombe the lead when he got on the scoresheet in the 12th minute.

Godwin Aguda made it 1-1 with four minutes left in the first half.

Gombe lost Austin Oladapo who was sent off on 69 minutes for a foul.

And in the 94th minute, Ebuka Okeke scored the winner to give Rangers the win.

In other results, Wikki Tourist spanked visiting Abia Warriors 3-0, ABS pipped El Kanemi 2-1, while Sunshine Stars lost 1-0 at home to Lobi Stars.

At the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano Pillars beat Niger Tornadoes 1-0.

Pillars’ hero was Junior Lokosa who scored in the 25th minute of play.

After starting on a very bright note, the former Super Eagles gaffer, Austin Eguavon led the Sunshine Stars of Akure to an home defeat as Lobi Stars of Makurdi peeped the Owena Boys 1-0.

It takes 39 minutes for Rivers United fc to score a lone goal against the visiting Nasarawa United through Ayo Saka.
