“To whom much is given, much more is expected”
Nigerians have scored Mr. Raji Fashola very low in his almost 2 years tenure as the Minister of Works, Power and Housing.
In responding to Awijare News survey tagged “which ministry is Fashola most effective?” on Democracy Day via our twitter page, 20% of our respondents rated Fashola high on Power, another 20% also rated him high on Housing while a whooping 60% responded that the Minister isn’t effective in any of the ministries.
Surprisingly, none of our respondents think that the Minister has done anything in the Housing sector.
The appointment of the former Governor of Lagos State as 3 portfolio minister was overwhelmingly celeberated because of his track record while in Lagos. Unfortunately, perpetual lack of electricity in particular and inability of the Government to provide prepaid meter to all and sundry has eaten deep into Fashola’s good reputation before his current appointment.
Hopefully, by the time this administration is 3 years old, Fashola performances would have earned him a better rating among his admirers.
