Nigerian FIFA Referees Arrive in Zambia for U-17 World Cup Qualifier
Four Nigerian FIFA referees have landed in Ndola, Zambia, ahead of the highly anticipated second leg of the Women U-17 World Cup qualifier between Zambia and Tanzania. The quartet, who departed from Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport Abuja this morning, include the Referee Akintoye Yemisi, Assistant Referee 1 Beauty Terah, Assistant Referee 2 Akpan Mfon Friday, and Fourth Official Alaba Olufunmilayo.
The first leg, which took place in Tanzania about a week ago, ended in a dominant 3-0 victory for Zambia, giving them a comfortable advantage heading into the return leg.
