The Nigeria National League (NNL) is keeping the momentum alive, and this time, it’s not just about goals and wins—it’s about recognizing the heartbeat of the league. In a vibrant show of appreciation and motivation, the Chief Executive Officer of the NNL, Emmanuel Atah, has officially announced the February 2025 winners of the ProStar/NNL/Sportlight Hub Monthly Awards.
Set to be awarded on April 15, 2025, at 11 a.m., the ceremony will take place at the NNL Secretariat in Abuja, where excellence across the board—from players to referees—will be celebrated.
These monthly awards are more than just a trophy shelf addition; they serve as a nod to the sweat, strategy, and spirit that fuel Nigeria’s second-tier football league. So, who made the cut this time?
Here’s a closer look at the standout stars of February:

Fair, firm, and focused—Adekoya stood out for his consistency in officiating, ensuring every game was played by the book.

Whether it was tactical tweaks or inspiring team talks, Obinna’s leadership and strategy were instrumental in his team’s performance throughout the month.

The engine of the team and a consistent game-changer, Austin was everywhere on the pitch—creating chances, winning duels, and pushing boundaries.
