
In a bold move to revive the fortunes of Sunshine Stars Football Club, the Governor of Ondo State, Dr Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has officially dissolved the management board of the Ondo State Football Agency (ODSFA).
Effective immediately, Mr Dele Ologun, who served as Executive Chairman, along with all other board members, has been relieved of their positions. They have been instructed to hand over all government property in their possession to the agency’s accounting officer without delay.
This major shake-up signals a new direction for football administration in the state. To steer this transition, Governor Aiyedatiwa has appointed a caretaker committee to take the reins of Sunshine Stars FC—a beloved team with passionate supporters across the state.

According to Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, “this new committee will report directly to the Office of the Governor”—a sign of just how seriously this administration is taking the revamp of the state’s football legacy.
The Governor Aiyedatiwa didn’t mince words in his charge to the new team: “It’s time to restore pride, passion, and performance to Sunshine Stars. Let’s bring the glory back!”
