The day began with Team 360 FC edging Soccer Talent FC 2-1 in a fiercely contested opener. Team 360’s Chidera Owuwa struck early in the 8th minute, and Akanbi Brown doubled the lead in the 30th minute. Soccer Talent responded through Adeshina Ogunwale’s strike in the 13th minute, but it wasn’t enough as Team 360 held firm for the win.

Penalty Drama in Badagry vs Ikorodu Derby
In the second match, Joint FC of Badagry Division faced Brighton FA of Ikorodu Division in a tense affair that ended 1-1 in regulation. Joel Emmanuel gave Joint FC the lead in the 32nd minute, but Brighton FA responded with a well-taken effort from Arewa Godwin. Despite yellow cards to Iruakemi Daniel (Joint FC) and Arewa himself, the match proceeded to penalties where Brighton FA emerged victorious.
Inspire SA Destroy Power Rangers with an 8-0 Masterclass
The headline act of the day came in the third match, where Inspire Sports Academy dismantled Power Rangers 8-0 in the most dominant display of the tournament so far.
Segun Adediran bagged the second hat trick of the competition, scoring in the 2nd, 9th, and 15th minutes. His teammate Jimoh Farouk added a brace, while James Falana, Hammed Kehinde, and Hungbo Idowu also found the back of the net.

This match was less of a contest and more of a clinic, as Inspire SA controlled possession, tempo, and territory from start to finish. Even yellow cards for Idowu and Power Rangers’ Abdullahi Taiwo could not distract from the attacking brilliance on display.
Franceex United vs Fackson FC Ends Goalless, Decided on Spot Kicks
The final fixture of the day between Franceex United FC and Fackson FC ended in a goalless stalemate. Despite yellow cards to Adim Onyedikachi and Odiah Emmanuel of Franceex, neither side could find a breakthrough.
Fackson FC eventually triumphed in the penalty shootout, booking their place in the next round.
