Adamawa Queens FC vs Rivers Angels FC
Adamawa Queens welcome Rivers Angels to their Numan fortress, a ground where the hosts have won both league matches this season. Rivers Angels, however, arrive as one of the league’s most feared sides, having won all three matches played so far.
This encounter sets up a fascinating narrative. Either Adamawa Queens maintain their intimidating home dominance, or Rivers Angels extend their perfect start and dismantle another fortress.
Rivers Angels currently sit third in Group A with nine points, while Adamawa Queens are fourth on seven points. With attacking quality from Ramotalahi Kareem, Abasiofon Uwah, Zainab Oduga and Grace Saliu, the visitors look capable of overpowering any defence on their day.

Ibom Angels FC vs Bayelsa Queens FC

Bayelsa Queens sit top of Group A with a perfect nine points from three matches and remain one of the most complete teams in the league. Ibom Angels, meanwhile, have managed just four points from four matches and occupy sixth place.

The referee for this encounter is Alozie Christian N from Enugu, assisted by Eze Emmanuel Osita and Onyishi Nnamdi Charles.

Ekiti Queens FC vs Naija Ratels FC
Ekiti Queens begin life away from Ado Ekiti following their banishment to MKO Stadium Abeokuta, where they host Naija Ratels in their first relocated home fixture.
Both sides have struggled this season. Ekiti Queens have one point from three matches, while Naija Ratels have two points from four games. The Ratels have conceded eight goals and scored just twice, raising concerns after last season’s impressive Super Six qualification.
For Ekiti Queens, players such as Seun Fakunle, Yaro Patience, Joke Adeyemo and Amarachi Okoronkwo must step up if the BAO Ladies are to revive their campaign.
The match will be officiated by newly listed FIFA referee Omotoye Oluwatosin from Osun, assisted by Oladoja Olawumi B and Adeola Nafisat Olanike from Oyo.

Pacesetters Queens FC vs Heartland Queens FC
Adamasingba Stadium in Ibadan hosts Pacesetters Queens against Heartland Queens in a fixture that could define both teams’ seasons.
Pacesetters Queens are at the bottom of Group A after losing all four matches this season, conceding seven goals and scoring just once. Heartland Queens have been inconsistent, recording one win, one draw and one loss from three matches.
While Heartland may see this as an opportunity for away points, Pacesetters will believe this is their best chance yet to secure their first victory of the season.
All match officials are from Kwara State, led by Olayinka Busayo alongside Williams Olore Veronica and David Adeshewa.

Confluence Queens FC vs Osun Babes FC
Confluence Queens return home to Iyamoh Edo desperately seeking their first win of the season. They sit at the bottom of Group B with just one point from four matches, having conceded eleven goals.
Following recent technical changes, Ojekunle Folabi takes charge as Technical Adviser, supported by Okon Nsikakabasi and Esther Michael. The club has expressed confidence that the new coaching crew will spark a turnaround.
However, their task is daunting against Osun Babes, coached by Nigeria Under 17 head coach Bankole Olowookere, whose youthful side is known for its discipline and resilience.
Ondo State officials will handle the game, with Okunyade Adesola as referee, assisted by Olusi Kikelomo K and Godspower Dorcas.
Delta Queens FC vs Dannaz Ladies FC
In Asaba, Delta Queens face Dannaz Ladies in a clash of evenly matched sides. Both teams have four points from four matches, with identical records of one win, one draw and two defeats.
Delta Queens hold a slight edge on goal difference and will hope home support translates into a vital second win of the campaign. Dannaz Ladies, however, have proven difficult to break down.
The officiating team includes Ndukwe Adugo from Imo as referee, assisted by Onwughalu Eberechukwu and Ndubuisi Chidozie Somtochukwu from Anambra.
Remo Stars Ladies FC vs Nasarawa Amazons FC
The standout fixture of Week 5 takes place in Ikenne as Remo Stars Ladies host Nasarawa Amazons.
Both sides are locked on eight points in Group B, with two wins and two draws each. Remo Stars Ladies remain defensively perfect, yet to concede a goal this season, while Nasarawa Amazons have allowed just one.
Remo Stars boast talents such as Animashaun, Cynthia Mega, Anifowoshe Kadijat, Similoluwa Okesiji, Immaculata Offiong and Arubo Oluwaseyi. Nasarawa Amazons counter with Igbokwe Joy, Shobowale Olushola, Isaiah Ochanya, Lot Daniella and Adesoji Esther.
FIFA referee Akintoye Yemisi leads an all-Lagos officiating team, assisted by Ekun Folashade and Ashade Senami.
FC Robo Queens vs Ahudiyannem Queens FC
At the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, league leaders FC Robo Queens face newly promoted Ahudiyannem Queens.
FC Robo sit comfortably atop Group B with four wins from four matches, twelve goals scored and just one conceded. Ahudiyannem Queens remain winless, having failed to score a single goal this season despite conceding only three.
With attacking threats like Kemi Adegbuyi, Opeyemi Ajakaiye, Rafiu Tosin, Yusuf Rodiat and Nkwocha Favour, FC Robo are overwhelming favourites.
Ajirorutu Esther from Ondo officiates, assisted by Sule Oluwatosin from Osun and Ogunrombi Ruth Oluwakemi from Oyo.
Abia Angels FC vs Sunshine Queens FC
In Aba, Abia Angels host Sunshine Queens in a mid-table battle. Sunshine Queens sit fifth, while Abia Angels are sixth.
Sunshine Queens have been impressive on the road, drawing in Asaba and Umuahia after their opening-day loss to FC Robo Queens. The question remains whether they can extend that away resilience in Aba.
Officials from Cross River State include Nwafor Jacob Emmanuel, Akpan Edu Michael and Adula Samson.
Final Word
With fixtures spread across both groups, NWFL Week 5 is set to reshape the league standings. While FC Robo Queens are guaranteed to remain top of Group B regardless of results, the same certainty does not exist for Bayelsa Queens in Group A.
As the league resumes after the festive break, every match carries weight. By Wednesday night, title races, survival hopes and unbeaten streaks could all look very different.
