At the Onikan waterfront, Lagos, FC Robo Queens continued their perfect run with a narrow one-to-zero win over Ahudiyannem Queens. The only goal arrived inside the opening minute when Kemi Adegbuyi released Opeyemi Ajakaiye, who finished calmly just 56 seconds into the game.

In Iyamho, newly promoted Osun Babes earned a priceless one-to-zero away victory against Confluence Queens. Naimot Kazeem struck in the sixty-second minute to secure the first away win of the season for Bankole Olowookere’s side.

The result lifts Osun Babes to seven points and sixth on the table, while Confluence Queens remain rooted at the bottom with just one point after five matches.

Rivers Angels End Adamawa Home Run With Uwah Hat Trick

Makwada Square witnessed one of the standout performances of the season as Rivers Angels swept aside Adamawa Queens three goals to nil. After a goalless first half, the game exploded following the restart.

Abasiofon Uwah delivered a ruthless second-half hat trick, scoring in the fifty-sixth, sixty-third and eighty-first minutes, all from set-piece situations. Polinus Ifeoma and Jumia Adebayo were instrumental in supplying the deliveries, while Rivers Angels dominated physically and tactically.

Remo Stars Ladies threw everything forward in search of an equaliser, but the Amazons defended with composure, bravery and collective discipline. It was a statement performance in one of the toughest away venues in the league.

Nasarawa Amazons remain second in Group B with eleven points, while Remo Stars Ladies slipped to fourth.

Abia Angels Start The Year Strong In Aba

At the Enyimba Stadium in Aba, Abia Angels opened the new year with a commanding two-to-zero win over Sunshine Queens. Ekezie Onyedikachi broke the deadlock deep into first-half added time with a well-executed set piece.

The midfield trio of Miracle Usani, Akwubo Obianuju and Mariam Abdulrasheed controlled proceedings, while goalkeeper Fatima Oloko made key saves to preserve the clean sheet.

Coach Mario Eshalomi’s substitutions proved decisive as Chioma Abayim set up Winner David for the second goal in the seventy-sixth minute. Abia State Commissioner for Sports and Youth Development Hon. Nwaobialor Nwadinma Ananaba was present as Abia Angels climbed to third with eight points ahead of their next clash with FC Robo Queens.

Delta Queens Move Up With Late Strike In Asaba

Delta Queens recorded a solid two-to-zero victory over Dannaz Ladies in Asaba. Amarachukwu Onuorah opened the scoring in the twenty-ninth minute before Rita Tsebe sealed the win in added time.

The victory lifts Delta Queens to fifth on the standings as they continue to find consistency.

Bayelsa Queens Stay Top Despite Ugly Scenes In Uyo

Bayelsa Queens maintained their position at the summit of Group A with a hard-fought two-to-one win over Ibom Angels at the Uyo Township Stadium. Kesiena Ojiyovwi opened the scoring in the twentieth minute after a fine pass from Janet Akekeromowei, who later doubled the lead before halftime.

Ibom Angels pulled one back through Helen Daniel shortly after the break, but Bayelsa Queens held firm to secure all three points.

However, the match was overshadowed by post-match chaos as Bayelsa Queens players were attacked by home fans. Coach Whyte Ogbonda suffered injuries while attempting to shield his players, raising serious concerns about safety and matchday security in the league.

Ekiti Queens Claim First Win Of The Season In Abeokuta

At the MKO Stadium in Abeokuta, Ekiti Queens finally tasted victory with a one-to-zero win over Naija Ratels. Ismail Zainab struck in the seventy-third minute to deliver a morale-boosting result.

The win moves Ekiti Queens to four points and seventh place, just above Naija Ratels. Attention now shifts to their next away fixture against Pacesetter Queens, where confidence will be high.

Pacesetter Queens Finally Get Off The Mark In Ibadan

Pacesetter Queens earned their first point of the season after a goalless draw against Heartland Queens in Ibadan. The home side created the better chances but lacked a cutting edge in front of goal.

After four straight defeats, the draw represents a small but important step forward ahead of their next match against Ekiti Queens.
